What is the Apache HTTP Server Project?

The Apache HTTP Server Project is a collaborative software development effort aimed at creating a robust, commercial-grade, featureful, and freely-available source code implementation of an HTTP (Web) server. The project is jointly managed by a group of volunteers located around the world, using the Internet and the Web to communicate, plan, and develop the server and its related documentation. This project is part of the Apache Software Foundation. In addition, hundreds of users have contributed ideas, code, and documentation to the project. This file is intended to briefly describe the history of the Apache HTTP Server and recognize the many contributors.

Hello Outcastm,

I installed the module for the third time.
Directly after the installation of the module I can reach the page. (Http and Https) "It works!"
After restarting the NAS, the Apache server is no longer accessible.
Have already tried to adjust the config, no change.

Can you please help me, what am I doing wrong

Sincerely, hydrotec

Yes, is displayed as a running module.
You can also access the module's home page and edit the configurations.
The error log was not described at the last restart of the NAS.
Apache24 runs without problems, even after the restart.

the log said "access denied by server configuration" but i see the root folder was changed from /raid/data/htdocs to /raid/data/module/apache/sys/share/htdocs/
Did you upload some files on /raid/data/htdocs folder ? You have a file .htaccess there ? (is a hidden file)
Can you post also the content of the file /raid/data/module/apache/sys/etc/httpd.conf

This was strange, in the httpd.conf the path was correct.
Only to the index.html added the test.php.
.htaccess is not available.

I think the error has found.
For the httpd.conf and httpd-ssl.conf, a few arguments have disappeared.
I have replaced the original values.
The server is restarted, and now it is running.
Even after a reboot.
The appendix contains the history of the error messages.

Thanks again for your quick help,
although you actually have holidays.

I wish you a nice Sunday

Sincerely
hydrotec
